March 2006 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #47 Item Title Payment of Florida School Boards Association Annual Dues for fiscal year 2006-07 (Revised) Issue/Rationale School Board approval is required for payment of annual dues to the Florida School Boards Association.  FSBA provides valuable service to local school boards.  These services include researching of legislative importance to school systems and representing their views before the Legislature, the State Board of Education, and other organizations interested in public education. Recommended Action Approve the payment of FSBA dues for FY 2006-07.
